What is Notepad?
Notepad is a basic text editing program and it is most commonly used to view or edit text
files. A text file is a file type typically identified by the .txt file name extension.
Open Notepad by clicking the Start button, clicking Programs, clicking Accessories,
and then clicking Notepad.
How do I change the font style and size?
Changes to the font style and size affect all the text in the document.
1. Click the Format menu, and then click Font.
2. Make your selections in the Font, Font style, and Size boxes.
3. When you are finished making font selections, click OK.

How do I cut, copy, paste, or delete text?
1. To cut text, select the text, click the Edit menu, and then click Cut.
2. To copy, select the text, click the Edit menu, and then click Copy.
3. To paste text, click the paste location, click the Edit menu, and then click Paste.
4. To delete text, select it, click the Edit menu, and then click Delete.

How do I print a Notepad document?
1. Click the File menu, and then click Print.
