The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Rogue Area Senior Computer Assistance League was held on December 01, 2009 at the Josephine County Fairgrounds Floral Building, Grants Pass, Oregon. The following board members were present: President Ron Willing, Vice President Bob Booth, Secretary Velma Gustafson, Education Director Judy Engel, Membership Director Maggie Robson, and Communications Director Galen Garretson. Secretary's Report: Velma Gustafson reported: The minutes of the November 2009 Board of Directors meeting were approved and placed on the RASCAL website. Velma passed out tentative forms for the next year's schedule and requested approval for the dates. She also advised that she has about six volunteer gifts to give out from our business meeting that she has attempted to contact; they are not members. She suggested that names given on the list to give volunteer gifts to should be checked off our membership list in the future. This was agreed on. Treasurer's Report: Naomi Carlson was not present but - She wants us to know the insurance bill was paid in the amount of $440.00. A recurring bill with Hart Insurance every year. Membership Director's Report: Maggie Robson reported, we have 885 individual members and 24 new ones. Education Director's Report: Judy Engel thanked everyone for their support for the last three years, and Lou Garrotto will take her position next year. She will assist him. Communications Director's Report: Galen reported: We are getting too technical at our beginner's meeting, and losing them. This has been an ongoing problem and was discussed. Vice President's Report: Bob Booth had nothing to report. President's Report: Ron Willing has no report. The meeting was adjourned at 12:10 p.m.
