The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of Rogue Area Senior Computer Assistance League was held on August 11, 2009 \at Bill Porter's house, 339 Thompson Creek Rd., Jacksonville, Oregon. The following board members were present: President Ron Willing, Secretary Velma Gustafson, and Treasurer Naomi Carlson, members present included: Mary Porter, Karen Janssen, Arthur Janssen, Bill Porter, and Vivian Dagnan. Secretary's Report: Velma Gustafson reported: The minutes of the July 2009 Board of Directors meeting were approved and placed on the RASCAL website. Treasurer's Report: Naomi Carlson reported: Naomi submitted a financial breakdown for the picnic. This was discussed. We paid $312.00 on the pavilions rental. We sold 116 tickets at $8.00 each, $904.00 and paid for 110 lunches at $12.00 each, $1320.00/ We paid for donut holes, $16.00, water, soda and ice, $60.69, cakes and pies, $126.96, and miscellaneous supplies, $37.87. We brought in $339.00 on bingo, 50/50, and raffle tickets, which helped cut down our costs. Membership Director's Report: Maggie Robson was not present. We do not have a membership report. Education Director's Report: Judy Engel was out of town. Communications Director's Report: Galen Garretson was not present. Vice President's Report: Bob Booth not present. President's Report: Ron Willing talked about the election committee's referral for officers to be on the board next year: President, Galen Garretson; Vice President, Ron Willing; Secretary, Velma Gustafson; Communication Director, Murray Johnson; Education Director, Lou Garrotto with Judy Engel scheduling; Membership, Pat Hentges. The meeting was adjourned at 11:20 a.m.
